Abstract
Three cases of Clostridium aldenense bacteremia are reported. C. aldenense is also associated with intra-abdominal infections and closely resembles Clostridium clostridioforme and therefore may be misidentified. C. aldenense may be a more frequent pathogen than appreciated and is generally fluoroquinolone resistant.Entities:
