Abstract
A simplified in-vivo test system was applied to detect chloroquine resistance in malaria patients in Shahjahanpur district (Uttar Pradesh) in India. In 27.6% of cases RIII resistance was observed. This in-vivo method is a simple and useful test for the early detection of chloroquine-resistant falciparum infections and for the management of these patients with alternative therapy.Entities:
