Abstract
An O-polysaccharide was released by mild acid degradation of the lipopolysaccharide of Acinetobacter sp. VS-15 and studied by chemical methods along with (1)H and (13)C NMR spectroscopy, including 2D (1)H,(1)H COSY, TOCSY, ROESY, (1)H,(13)C HSQC and HMBC experiments. The following structure of the pentasaccharide repeating unit of the polysaccharide was established: [Formula: see text]. The O-polysaccharide of Acinetobacter lwoffii EK67 was found to have the same structure.Entities:
