Chemokines: sirens of neutrophil recruitment-but is it just one song?

Braedon McDonald1, Paul Kubes.

Abstract

Neutrophil trafficking to inflamed tissues requires the integration of multiple chemoattractant guidance signals. In this issue of Immunity, Chou et al. (2010) demonstrate that collaborative "cascades" of chemoattractant mediators control neutrophil recruitment to arthritic joints in mice. Copyright 2010 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
