Abstract
Mice immunised by drinking water containing an Aro- mutant strain of Salmonella typhimurium produced intestinal IgA antibodies after a memory response which was demonstrated by measuring copro-antibodies. After oral challenge with a virulent strain of S. typhimurium, foster mouse pups placed with immunised mothers survived longer than control pups held with non-immunised mothers.Entities:
