Abstract
Despite spirituality being an important aspect of patient care, few nurses feel they meet patients' needs in this area. This first in a two part series examines definitions of spirituality and the difference between this concept and religion. It also discusses spirituality at certain points in t hepatient pathway, such as at the end of life, and finding meaning in illness.Entities:
