Abstract
This case report describes a live birth resulting from intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) of spermatozoa retrieved by microdissection testicular sperm extraction (micro-TESE) into oocytes produced from human chorionic gonadotropin-primed in vitro maturation (IVM) cycles. In the IVM treatment, a total of 30 oocytes (1 mature and 29 immature oocytes) were retrieved. Following IVM, 9 oocytes had matured. A total of 4 oocytes were fertilized after ICSI with the husband's micro-TESE spermatozoa and 4 embryos were transferred into the uterus on day 3. A healthy boy weighing 2500 g was born at 35.5 weeks of gestation.Entities:
