Abstract
Cardiac computed tomography (CT) is a rapidly advancing technology that complements echocardiography in the imaging evaluation of congenital heart disease. CT can play an important role in diagnosis and follow-up via assessment of anatomic features and postoperative complications. An understanding of the pathophysiology and imaging characteristics of various congenital heart lesions is essential for effective implementation and accurate interpretation of the cardiac CT examination. 2010.
