Abstract
Congenital H-type fistulae are a rare abnormality. They commonly present with only minor respiratory complications and can, therefore, be difficult to identify. Conventionally, correction is via a ligation performed via either a cervical or thoracotomy incision, dependant on the fistula site. Thoracoscopic repair is emerging as a tenable alternative to traditional approaches and offers some advantages. This paper details the technical aspects of the thoracoscopic ligation of an H-type fistula.Entities:
