Abstract
Calcium channel blockers are widely used in medical practice for the management of cardiovascular disorders. Of concern to the dental practitioner is the effect of these drugs on the gingival tissues. All classes of calcium channel blockers have been implicated in causing gingival overgrowth. This review considers the prevalence, clinical features, histopathology, pathogenesis and management of this unwanted side-effect.Entities:
