Abstract
The blood compatibility of the superhydrophobic polypropylene surface that prepared by Erbil's method was preliminarily evaluated by platelet-rich plasma (PRP) adhesion study, fresh human whole blood contacting experiments and scanning electron microscopy, using original polypropylene films as the controls. The results show that the superhydrophobic character of polymer surface was in favor of anticoagulation. Copyright (c) 2010 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.Entities:
