Abstract
Analytical methods for drug substances, formulations, and clinical samples developed and validated on HPTLC plates during the period 1996-2009 are reviewed. Procedures, materials, and instrumentation for the different steps in the HPTLC procedure and validation of results; applications to bulk drugs, formulations, stability studies, biological samples (e.g., urine and plasma), and hydrophobicity studies; and prospects for the use of HPTLC for drug analysis in the future are described.Entities:
