Abstract
Facial fractures are common problems encountered by the plastic surgeon. Although ubiquitous in nature, their optimal treatment requires precise knowledge of the most recent evidence-based and technologically advanced recommendations. This article discusses a variety of contemporary issues regarding facial fractures, including physical and radiologic diagnosis, treatment pearls and caveats, and the role of various synthetic materials and plating technologies for optimal facial fracture fixation.Entities:
