Some aspects of the epidemiology of toxoplasmosis and pneumocystosis in AIDS in Europe.

N Clumeck1.

Abstract

The incidence and prevalence of Toxoplasma gondii and Pneumocystis carinii infections among AIDS patients in Europe are different from those observed in the USA. These differences are probably causally related to differences in host exposure, and sociocultural and nutritional habits.
