Abstract

The "Mother and Child" technique has emerged as a powerful tool for providing additional backup force to conventional guiding catheters. In this report, we show five consecutive cases (including six lesions), in which the "mother and child" technique (five-in-six system) solved the problem of lesion access in various coronary arteries and clinical contexts. These cases illustrate the wide-ranging applicability of the five-in-six system for complex lesion treatment in the modern era.
