Abstract
A large hepatic cyst was excised from an infant who presented on the first day of life with an abdominal mass. Intraoperative, gross, and microscopic observations indicated that this was a cystic duplication of the ileum that extended into the liver. The cyst had a gastric mucosal lining, and there was evidence of ulceration. The occurrence of an alimentary duplication within the liver has been described in only one previous report.Entities:
