Abstract
The case is presented of a 24-year-old Caucasian man with moderate to severe psoriasis vulgaris resistant to traditional topical and systemic treatments who developed lichen planus (LP) during treatment with etanercept. Etanercept was effective, but LP developed after 8 months' therapy. Although LP was deemed possibly related to etanercept therapy, the treatment was not discontinued and topical corticosteroids were applied with some clinical improvement. This is the second report of LP associated with etanercept treatment.Entities:
