Abstract
The analgesic principles from Aralia cordata Thunb, were identified with (ent)-kaur-16-en-19-oic acid (KA) and (ent)-pimara-8(14),15-dien-19-oic acid (PA), respectively. Both compounds were significantly effective regarding analgesics, hypothermia, duration of pentobarbital-induced anesthesia, and depression of locomotor activity enhanced by methamphetamine at doses of 300 mg/kg (KA) and 500 mg/kg (PA) by oral administration.Entities:
