Figure 1Examples of reminiscence exhibitions. The ladies' exhibition 'Darning and embroidery' included a home-sewn and darned child's coat, button box, embroidery patterns, crocheted collars, lace handkerchiefs, sewing box, washing line and pegs. The gentlemen's exhibition included shaving equipment, old electrical plugs, rationing stamps, technical books, primus stove, a peat cutter and a knife-grinder's cycle.
