Abstract
The hypothenar fat pad flap receives segmental blood supply from the ulnar artery in Guyon's canal. It is easy to elevate and mobilize and can provide protective covering and a gliding surface for the median nerve during secondary nerve surgery in the distal forearm and carpal tunnel. It is locally available and can be used without making additional surgical incisions. Copyright 2010. Published by Elsevier Inc.Entities:
