Abstract
Visible light cured (VLC) resin can be used to produce hollow dental obturators but the quantity of water absorbed by this material, in comparison to heat cured acrylic, as reported in previous studies, may make the appliance unhygienic. A model was designed to compare sorption and permeability. It was found that the VLC resin had a lower sorption value than heat cured acrylic, making it a more suitable material for producing hollow obturators.Entities:
