Abstract
BACKGROUND: Postoperative acute kidney injury (AKI) is a significant complication after coronary artery bypass surgery. Prior coronary angiography increases the likelihood of AKI due to the use of a radiocontrast dye. This study examined the effect of coronary angiography on the postoperative renal function after off-pump coronary artery bypass surgery (OPCAB).Entities:

Patient Characteristics
Values are reported as the mean ± SD, median (interquartile range) or number of patients (%). Control: coronary angiography performed within two days of OPCAB, Angio: coronary angiography performed more than two days before OPCAB, NYHA: New York Heart Association, LVEF: left ventricular ejection fraction, CIN: contrast-induced nephropathy, NSR: normal sinus rhythm, A-fib: atrial fibrillation, ACEI: angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor, ARB: angiotension receptor blocker.
Intraoperative Administration of Fluid and Red Blood Cell and the Use of Vasopressor
Values are reported as the median (interquartile range) or number of patients (%). Control: coronary angiography performed within two days of OPCAB, Angio: coronary angiography performed more than two days before OPCAB.
Changes in the Serum Creatinine, Cystatin C, and Estimated GFR Levels during the Perioperative Period
Values are reported as the median (interquartile range). Control: coronary angiography performed within two days of OPCAB, Angio: coronary angiography performed more than two days before OPCAB, Cr: creatinine, eGFR: estimated glomerular filtration rate, POD: postoperative day.

Postoperative Outcomes
Values are reported as the mean ± SD, median (interquartile range) or number of patients (%). Control: coronary angiography performed within two days of OPCAB, Angio: coronary angiography performed more than two days before OPCAB, A-fib: atrial fibrillation. *P < 0.05 versus control group.
