Abstract
Total wrist arthroplasty is an alternative for patients with severe wrist arthritis who have specific requirements or desires to preserve motion. However, wrist replacement has its own unique risks and potential complications, and is not appropriate for patients with high physical demands. This article discusses these risks and complications and provides strategies to minimize risks and manage complications. Copyright (c) 2010 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.Entities:
