Abstract
Binding sites for a variety of agonists and anatagonists of GABA and dopamine were demonstrated in retina subcellular fractions. These sites exhibited the binding kinetics and pharmacologic specificity consistent with known properties of the physiological receptors for GABA and for dopamine. Important differences noted between brain and retinal receptors will be discussed.Entities:
