Abstract
Vitamins seem to have replaced snake-oil as the magical cure for all complaints, but we should not make the mistake of over-reacting and dismissing the whole subject as fallacious and unworthy of our attention. The truth probably lies somewhere between the extremes of over-enthusiasm and over-pessimism, and at least two of the vitamins (C and E) may well prove to have a wider clinical application than is presently recognized.Entities:
