Abstract

FOUR OF THE COMMONEST HAIR CONDITIONS SEEN BY FAMILY PRACTITIONERS ARE: seborrheic dermatitis, physiologic alopecia, telogen effluvium, and alopecia areata. This article summarizes the clinical findings in each of these disorders and suggests methods of treatment.
