Abstract
Sucrose polyester (a dietary fat substitute) opacifies the entire gastrointestinal tract of the rat with oral administration in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). These results suggest the potential use of this material as an oral contrast agent for human abdominal MRI studies.Entities:
