Abstract
Three new 12-hydroxybriarane diterpenoids, excavatoids L-N (1-3), have been isolated from the cultured octocoral Briareum excavatum. The structures of new briaranes 1-3 were elucidated by the interpretations of spectroscopic methods. Excavatoid L (1) displayed moderate inhibitory effects on superoxide anion generation and elastase release by human neutrophils.Entities:
