Abstract
The observation that oligo(ethylene glycol) (OEG)-terminated monolayers remained highly protein-resistant for a month at 37 degrees C in PBS buffer while they degraded faster in air can be rationalized by a proposed mechanism formulated from a model study using the first internal hydroperoxide of OEG.Entities:
