Abstract
We describe a series of tools to study the types of patients treated in hospitals: the Minimum Basic Data Set (MBDS), International Classification of Diseases (ICD) and the more used patient classification system: Diagnosis Related Groups (DRG) and suggest their possible applications in the fields of management and clinical research.Entities:
