Abstract
SUMMARY: We present herein a 2-year-old boy who suffered from chronic recurrent multifocal osteomyelitis for 6 months and was later diagnosed as acute lymphoblastic leukemia. In view of the rarity of bilateral symmetric and multifocal lesions in osteomyelitis in children, we suggest that leukemia should be investigated with bone marrow aspiration in such patients, even if complete blood count parameters are normal, and there is no hepatosplenomegaly.Entities:
