Abstract
Chemical investigation of the ethanol extract of the aerial parts of Scyphiphora hydrophyllacea Gaertn.collected in Hainan Province of China resulted in the isolation of a new iridoid, scyphiphin C (1) and a known iridoid glycoside, shanzhiside methyl ester (2). Their structures were elucidated by a study of their physical and spectral data.Entities:
