Abstract

Effective treatment for chorioretinitis caused by congenital cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection remains unknown. We report an infant with congenital CMV infection, who required a 6-month course of antiviral therapy to control his chorioretinitis. Long-term treatment may be necessary for managing congenital CMV-associated chorioretinitis. Copyright (c) 2010 Mosby, Inc. All rights reserved.
