Hip resurfacing arthroplasty has reemerged as a valid reconstruction option for the osteoarthritic hip. Patient selection is critical for excellent surgical outcomes, especially when compared with total hip arthroplasty. However, concerns regarding surgical technique and postsurgical complications persist.
