[Ethical insolvency?].

Abstract

The current DRG system has not only changed the economic structure of clinical medicine but also has profound effects on its original mission. In the present paper we discuss the fundamental limits of the DRG system and make a case for placing more emphasis on time and communication in health care. Georg Thieme Verlag KG Stuttgart.
