Abstract
Swelling of the Bartholin gland is most often due to inflammation and/or cysts, whereas solid lesions are rare. The majority of solid lesions are carcinomas and only a few cases of benign solid lesions have been reported in the literature, and these are either nodular hyperplasia or adenoma. In this case report, a woman presented with swelling of the labium majus, and she was clinically thought to have a Bartholin cyst. The lesion was excised, and histological examination revealed nodular hyperplasia of the Bartholin gland.Entities:
