Abstract
Soil from steppe and garden reserves, and urban park and wharf regions in the Ukraine, U.S.S.R., were studied for keratinophilic as well as for other predominant micro-fungal species. Most of the fungi were nonpathogens, and potential skin infecting fungi were limited to Microsporum gypseum and Trichophyton ajelloi. Species diversity identified population variation between collection sites.Entities:
