Abstract
Investigation of the aerial parts of Sisymbrium irio L. (Cruciferea) collected in northern Jordan afforded two new compounds, sitosteryl-6'-O-undecanoate-beta-D-glucoside (1) and (Z)-8,11,12-trihydroxyoctadec-9-enoic acid (2), in addition to 12 known compounds, 10 of which are reported for the first time from the plant. The structures of all of the compounds were established by spectroscopic and chemical methods.Entities:
