[Lacrimal gland epithelial tumors].

T Civit1, O Klein, F Baylac.

Abstract

Epithelial tumors of the lacrimal gland account for 50% of the expansive lesions of the lacrimal fossa. Pleomorphic adenomas have a good prognosis if surgery achieves en bloc removal distant from the tumoral capsule. Nevertheless, despite more severe treatment, the average survival remains limited for adenocarcinomas and cylindromas. Copyright 2010 Elsevier Masson SAS. All rights reserved.
