Listeria monocytogenes endophthalmitis.

S T Duch1, M C Quintana, O G Pujol.

Abstract

Listeria endophthalmitis developed in an otherwise healthy woman. Early identification of the microorganism after anterior chamber paracentesis and aggressive treatment with specific antibiotics through the intravitreal route resulted in complete recovery of visual acuity.
