Infarction of the left hepatic lobe in a neonate on serial CTs: evolution of a pseudomass to atrophy.

Abstract

We report a case of "hepatic mass" in a neonate caused by infarction of the left hepatic lobe with later atrophy. It is hoped that serial imaging can lead to recognition of this entity with avoidance of angiography and laparotomy.
