Diffuse pulmonary arteriovenous fistula shown by contrast echocardiography and pulmonary angiography.

Abstract

We report an 11-year-old boy with diffuse pulmonary arteriovenous fistula (multiple telangiectasia type). Contrast echocardiography proved R to L shunting at the peripheral levels of the lungs. A definitive diagnosis was obtained by pulmonary arteriography.
