Abstract
Trigger fingers, especially trigger at the A2 pulley, are extremely rare. We experienced two cases of the trigger finger at the A2 pulley and treated them surgically. A flexor digitorum profundus (FDP) nodule was located at the distal entry zone of the A2 pulley in case 1; therefore, the digit could not be flexed. The FDP nodule was located at the proximal entry zone of the A2 pulley in case 2, so the digit could not been extended. The surgical treatment was successful in removing the triggering in both the cases. Copyright 2010 British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons. Published by Elsevier Ltd.
