Abstract
Stiff person syndrome (SPS) is a rare disorder characterized by severe axial and/or limb rigidity, spasms and continuous motor unit activity on EMG. Symptomatically these patients are usually treated with GABAergic medications. We present a 45-year-old woman with SPS, who failed high dose of GABAergic medication. With intrathecal baclofen by intrathecal baclofen pump she had a significant improvement in her symptoms and quality of life.Entities:
