Abstract
Intraocular foreign bodies present a great threat to both sight and the globe of the patient especially if they are metallic and of long duration. We report a case of a metallic intraocular foreign body that presented four years after the initial trauma. The case was successfully managed by a simple technique and the role of ultrasound biomicroscopy (UBM) is highlighted. 2010 British Contact Lens Association. Published by Elsevier Ltd.
