Abstract
Catheter-associated urinary tract infection is the most common nosocomial infection, with hospitalized patients having a risk of 5% per day an indwelling catheter is in place. Use of catheters coated with silver alloy-hydrogel significantly reduces the risk of catheter-associated urinary tract infection and the burden on the NHS.Entities:
