Abstract
A 68-year-old male was referred to our hospital for treatment of left hemopneumothorax. Chest X-ray film and chest computed tomography scans showed emphysematous bulla at the apical portion of the left lung, pleural effusion and atelectasis of the lingular segment and lower lobe of the left lung. He underwent bullectomy and decortication. On the 9 post operative days, the patient was discharged without complication. Pathological diagnosis was lung adenocarcinoma originated from bulla wall. We must recognize that cystic lung disease is a high risk factor of the lung cancer.Entities:
