Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To study on the chemical constituents of effective part of Semen Ziziphi Spinosae. METHOD: The sample was extracted with methanol and purified by macroporous resin. The structures were identified by high performance liquid chromatography/electrospray ionization with multi-stage tandem mass spectrometry. RESULT: Thirteen compounds were identified from the effective part of Semen Ziziphi Spinosae. CONCLUSION: The method is simple and rapid for the identification of the flavonoids and triterpenoid saponins from Semen Ziziphi Spinosae.
