Abstract
A new phenolic, (4-hydroxy-2-isopropylphenyl)ethanoic acid and a new lignan, epi-calocedrin were obtained from the roots of Juniperus chinensis Linn. The structures were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic analysis and chemical evidence.Entities:
