Abstract
Creating a fluid therapy plan that is adequate to meet an individual patient's needs depends on identifying whether the animal has poor perfusion, is dehydrated, or both. This article reviews the body's fluid compartments, fluid dynamics, and the clinical parameters used to differentiate perfusion from hydration and create a fluid therapy plan.Entities:
